
Congratulations to Beverly Thompson for receiving the NFPA’s 2010 Fire & Life Safety Educator of the Year Award. Beverly is a public education specialist with Dekalb County Fire Rescue in Tucker, Georgia. Some of her community service includes coordinating Fire Prevention Week festivals, conducting fire safety training programs for older adults and introducing the Risk Watch program to 84 schools in the area.
